You control how you are notified about mailbox activity from Settings > Notifications:
- New mail -- notified as soon as a new item is scanned.
- Package arrival -- a separate alert for packages, since these often need a forwarding decision.
- Billing -- reminders before renewal and receipts after payment.
Each notification type can be delivered by email, SMS, or in-app alert, and can be turned off individually.
